The 4th NZMPA Biennial Conference 2018 was held on the 26th - 30th of November, 2018 at The Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington. The main topic for this conference was Reflecting on Training and Practices for Piloting in Today's World.
The conference highlighted some areas in Port & Harbour Maritime Safety Codes, Pilot Ladders, Compliance issues, Pilots' liabilities, Tug operations and a brief presentation from the Cruise Industry. All resources were then shared with our team at Niugini Pilots so that we are able to stay updated and move forward together.
We look forward to attending another conference by NZMPA in the near future!
